I never quite understood the Starpower project. All I know is that I bought a thing that plugs into an outlet that you plug your own electrical appliance into. Besides the appeal of the cryptocurrency, I bought a Starplug because I wanted to compare the power consumption of my old freezer with my new one. Unfortunately, the statistics recorded in the app mean nothing to me. It would take an electrician to interpret my results. From what I’ve read, they were supposed to improve this soon.
